KIMS Medical College, located in Bhatjangla Palpara More, Krishnanagar, Nadia (W.B.), 741102, began its journey in 2024 and takes great pride in its progress and its library. The Central Library serves as the heart of the college’s learning process, housing an extensive collection of medical books & research materials, including reference materials and numerous journals and magazines. Our college is dedicated to promoting an active teaching-learning process and fostering a research-oriented culture among faculty, students, and staff.
Central Library is located in a spacious centrally Air-Conditioned building adjacent to Medical College. The KIMS library offers open access to all teachers, staff, and students and utilizes Koha, an open-source Integrated Library System, for library automation. Barcode technology is employed for circulation and other operations, and the Library OPAC is accessible from anywhere via Koha's WebOPAC. The library includes a separate reading room with a seating capacity of more than 500 students and an internet-surfing facility in the Computer Lab. It also features a dedicated Medical Education Unit for discussions and research purposes.
It has more than 3500 books of all relevant subjects. It also has more than 20 National and International Journals along with e-Library facility. Adequate internal and external reading rooms for students and faculties available separately.
